NICOP Application Types

NADRA is processing following types of NICOP applications in London and other Consulates. Applicants are encouraged to read the following information carefully and choose the correct application type before visiting the NADRA.

New Smart NICOP

Applying for the First Time

Applicants already having registration with NADRA Database

  1. Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC / Urdu Card)
  2. Child Registration Certificate (CRC)
  3. Ordinary NICOP

New Smart NICOP for Computerized National Identity Card (CNIC) or Child Registration Certificate (CRC) holder

For applicant already holding Computerized ID Card i.e. CNIC (Shanakhti Card /  ) OR Computerized Child Registration Certificate i.e. CRC / B-Form.

Modification of SNICOP

For applicant already holding SNICOP and wants to modify or Change particulars in his / her existing SNICOP.

Renewal of SNICOP

For applicant holding an expired SNICOP.

Lost / Duplicate SNICOP

For applicant whose SNICOP is lost and no change required in existing data.

Processing Time and Delivery of your NICOP

Fast Track

Approximate processing time of a NICOP application is two to three weeks. However delivery can be delayed due to incomplete/invalid information or verification problems.

Normal

Approximate processing time of a NICOP application is six to eight weeks. However delivery can be delayed due to incomplete/invalid information or verification problems.

You will receive your new NICOP by post (recorded delivery or by DHL) at your UK home address, mentioned in the NICOP application form.

What if you don’t receive your NICOP with in delivery time?

You can track the progress of your application by calling* at NADRA headquarters Islamabad at +92 51 111 786 100. Please provide your 10 digit Application Tracking ID located on the computer generated token receipt for your inquiry.
