On 2nd October 2016, Pakistan Forum Held their 2016 Annual General Meeting at MCO, Sneinton, Nottingham.
The chairman, Quammar Zamman, presented a report highlighting the vision, approach and activities adopted and pursued since the election of the new Executive Committee and the progress achieved so far. He also highlighted future plans and activities to ensure that we serve the community particularly the youth and prepare them for leadership and active participation in the society.
The Secretary, Shahid Sharif, presented his report, which was distributed, to all the participants. His report highlighted the key events and activities undertaken during the last twelve months outlining the achievements and successes. He particularly outlined the successful Pakistan Independence day held in August and for the first time successful in attracting significant sponsorship from the private and public sector. The report also highlighted the challenges the Forum is facing, particularly on finances.
The Treasurer, Mr Mumtaz Bhatti, presented the audited Accounts, and dealt with the various queries.
The meeting decided to continue with the previous Auditors.
After the event, food was served and entertainment for was provided by Amjad Rana along with several other members.
