Pakistan Forum host Salaam Shalom Feb 2018
On 7th Feb 2018, Pakistan Forum Nottingham were once again privileged to host the feeding of the needy with Salaam Shalom. On the menu was Vegetable Curry, Daal (lentil Curry), Rice, Naan, Salad, Kheer all cooked by our professional caterer … Apple Crumble was donated by Salaam Shalom. Along with fruit squashes and tea/coffees, it made for a wonderful meal.
Well over 100 dinners were served to the community. There was a great turn out from the Pakistan Forum team who were all willing to don the aprons in the kitchen and serve as waiters for our wonderful and needy guests. Once again it was a humbling and rewarding experience for us and we are grateful to Salaam Shalom for providing us the opportunity to do our bit for the community.
Pakistan Forum is diverse, forward thinking and growing organisation and it was wonderful to see how quickly our new lady executives have slotted into our organisation and are now playing a full part in all of the Forum’s activities.
