Back in March 2016, we hosted a dinner for the disadvantaged community in Nottingham. The experience was humbling and rewarding in equal measure. We pledged to return and we fulfilled our pledge on Wed 16th Nov, 2016. It was another experience we will cherish and we would like to thank Salaam-Shalom for giving us this opportunity.
The experience gained from March’s event meant that this time we were able to deliver this event with complete success.
Some executives joked that they had never even done the washing at home, and needed guidance as to how to do it!!! You know who you are! But, still, they were more than happy to learn to do it here … especially as it was for such a worthy cause.
As always, the commitment of the team at Pakistan Forum is apparent when you hear that 10 of the executives were present at this event serving food, cleaning, washing etc. Truly, we are fortunate to have such an excellent, caring team on board.
